KeraSoft IC and Corneal Collagen Cross Linking (CXL) working hand in hand

Increasingly, people with keratoconus are turning to CXL as a treatment that can halt the condition. At the recent 38th UK Hospital Optometrists Annual Cinference, David Jory MB BS, FRCOphth and Lynn White MSc FCOptom discussed how KeraSoft IC can be used in conjunction CXL to transform the management of keratoconus.
Ophthalmic surgeon, David Jory, described the various CXL procedures, including “epi on”, “epi off” and the new “Femto Pocket” procedure which has been very successful in cases of very thin or scarred corneas. 
Optometrist Lynn White took delegates through the management of the CXL patient pre and post operatively using KeraSoft IC to aid rehabilitation and speed up the resumption of contact lens wear post operatively.
